Super Signs Rockets to Space Project

The Tim Peake Sports & Conference Centre

As an approved supplier to West Sussex County Council, we were very happy to be asked by Chichester High School for Boys to design and produce acrylic cut letters to be fitted to the new Sports & Conference building at the school.  We had to work to a really tight schedule, with only a week to complete the job before the arrival of a very important visitor.

The building has been named The Tim Peake Sports & Conference Centre, to commemorate the ongoing relationship with the High School and Major Tim Peake, an former CHSB pupil and named recently as one of six European astronauts selected from more than 8400 applicants from across Europe to undertake European Space Agency missions 'to the Moon and beyond'.

Major Peake visited the High School on Friday 10th July 2009 and conducted a school visit, giving some lucky pupils chance to meet with him and ask him questions.  He officially named the Sports & Conference Centre by cutting the ribbon and we are told that he was 'thrilled' with the sign.
