County 'Lollipop' Safety Campaign

West Sussex County Council recently launched a new safety campaign to give greater awareness and protection to school lollipop men and women.

The campaign was initiated as a result of several reports of cars ignoring crossing patrol staff on duty outside schools.  An eye-catching design was created to make drivers aware that it is an offence not to stop when a Lollipop person is holding out the 'Stop' pole.

Super Signs were asked to supply the new campaign adverts in the form of full-colour printed vinyls which have been fitted to the backs of more than 70 County Council vehicles.   The response has been really positive so far, and a repeat supply of further vinyls has already been ordered.
