Our relationship with Check-a-Trade began a few years ago producing bespoke point of sale displays. We swiftly moved on to manufacturing and fitting graphics to their staff vehicles. In late 2011 began a long standing relationship with Checkatrade to produce graphics for their member’s vehicles. Following an initial discussion with Bridget, Head of Advertising and Partnerships agreed that set guidelines would be used for each vehicle to ensure they were equal. Using vehicle outlines, a 2D drawing is created to give an idea of how the van will look. Once approved by the customer, the graphics are then printed and booked in for fitting.

We offer fitting of the graphics for all of their members, with some travelling from as far as Devon, Bournemouth and Bristol. As Check-a-Trade expands, a growing number of their members are spread across the country, so, to minimize the time the member is without their vehicle, their graphics are sent for fitting closer to their home. Since beginning this arrangement we have completed over 200 vehicles from small cars to large removal lorries. Members have informed us that over 80% of their work comes via Check-a-Trade, so are more than happy to have their branding displayed across their vehicles. This partnership is valuable for everyone involved, in particular, Check-a-Trade state that the cost of the van is comparable to the cost of a newspaper advertisement, but as the vehicles are on the road seven days a week, it is much more rewarding.
